Sandra and Robert | Classic and Timeless Engagement Photography in Olympia, Washington at the Washington State Capitol

The Washington State Capitol is one of my favorite locations outside of Seattle for couples photoshoots. Any time of year, it’s the perfect romantic backdrop. It’s gorgeous in the springtime with the pink cherry blossoms and dreamy and moody in the wintertime.

Sandra and Robert are getting married in Las Vegas and contacted me about their engagement photoshoot. They wanted a classic backdrop that felt like a movie. It was hard to choose between here or the castle that is Stadium High School in downtown Tacoma. Ultimately, we landed on the Capitol and were able to photograph inside the main building and outside on the grounds, and we went to Heritage Park in downtown Olympia.
