Seattle Studio Photography: Avant-Garde Fashion & Expert Lighting with Walace Swift Designs
My Seattle home studio recently transformed into a hub of creative energy during a session with my talented professional model friend, Jayde. This wasn't just any photoshoot; it was a collaboration showcasing the stunning avant-garde designs of Washington fashion designer, Walace Swift Designs.
Jayde modeled two exquisite, handcrafted pieces, each a testament to Walace Swift's unique vision. To capture the intricate details and dramatic silhouettes of these designs, I utilized my trusted setup: two Paul C. Buff Alien Bee B800 strobes, each paired with large umbrella modifiers. This lighting setup ensured soft, even illumination, highlighting the texture and form of the garments while creating a captivating atmosphere.
Working with Jayde is always a pleasure. We share a passion for fashion, particularly vintage styles. While we often collaborate on projects featuring her collection of retro Gunne Sax dresses, this session offered a refreshing twist, allowing us to explore contemporary design with a touch of theatrical flair.
This photoshoot exemplifies the versatility of my Seattle studio photography. Whether capturing vintage charm or avant-garde artistry, I strive to create visually compelling images that tell a story. If you're a fashion designer, model, or creative professional seeking studio photography in Western Washington, I invite you to explore my portfolio and book your session. Let's bring your creative vision to life with expert lighting and a collaborative spirit.
