Room & Board Linger Sectional Review
Before putting an offer in on my house I knew exactly what I wanted in the living room. That is, the Linger sectional from Room & Board.
I wanted my living room to be solely for snuggling up and watching movies because that's my favorite way to unwind. Naturally, a sectional would be the focal point of the room. I went with a u-shape because there's nothing worse than not sitting on the side of the couch with the chaise. I wanted to be fair, you know? ;)
The color was hard to land on because Room & Board offers so many gorgeous options and fabrics. However, I ended up going with Emerald green in their Vance velvet fabric. My living room (and most of my house) is monochromatic pink. Since green is red's complementary color, it was a natural choice and looked the most harmonious in the space.
What made me land on the Linger design were the proportions and scale. I wanted a sectional that took up most of the room without being chunky (I know that sounds like an oxymoron). The Linger sectional has a low back and clean lines but doesn't compromise comfort with the deep seats and cushion. When you take a seat, the plush feeling might remind you of the comfort of your favorite sofa in your parent's living room. Except this is a lot more stylish. The cushions don't wear down, either. It has stayed looking brand-new.
I went with the 3-piece u-shape sectional from the Linger line. However, like most of the sofas on Room & Board's website, you can change the shape and size. Suppose you love the lines of the Linger sectional, but you're looking for a love seat. Or, you want a slightly smaller L-shape sectional. Room & Board allows you to toggle through multiple options and see what the different fabric would look like
Room & Board's Linger line is a great choice for those who want a long-lasting piece of furniture that balances contemporary lines and optimal comfort.
